The Mountaineer Pinot Noir 2021

The brightest and best of Mount Michael barrels were selected for this highly drinkable sub-regional blend. Hand-picked fruit, gentle winemaking techniques, a sprinkling of whole bunches, and maturation in French Oak barriques have combined with an excellent vintage to produce this delicious Pinot Noir.

Lifted aromatics of bright red fruits, raspberries, cherries and pomegranate, underpinned by a savoury spice, forest floor and touch of oak. Concentrated fruit flavours that mirror the nose, medium bodied with a lovely, rounded mouthfeel. The fruit sweetness is delightfully balanced by savoury notes, spicy oak and silky fine tannins with a core of minerality.
