Maori Point Pinot Gris Fumé 2020 - ONLY 3 LEFT!

The Pinot Gris Fumé is a limited-release dry Pinot Gris that is fermented (with native yeasts) and then aged in oak barrels. Essentially, it is harvested from some of Maori Points best Pinot Gris grapes and they are treated like nice Chardonnay grapes.

It begins with soft pear and apricot, which are soon joined by hazelnut and brioche. In the finish look for a hint of butter and lemon zest and some smoky, flinty minerality. 

Complex yet crisp and refreshing, this is wonderful with food.
