Carrick EBM Chardonnay 2019

The Carrick EBM Chardonnay is so named for its ‘Extended Barrel Maturation’, which imparts further character, structure and flavor to this wine.

Stylish and refined, the wine shows nectarine, rockmelon, vanilla and roasted hazelnut characters with nuances of brioche and olive. It's concentrated and beautifully weighted with fleshy texture and juicy acidity, making it elegantly flavoursome and lingering.

Composed, powerful yet poised, the 2019 Extended Barrel Maturation Chardonnay, has plenty to offer now, but has a long ageing potential ahead of it. The nose offers smoke and toast notes, whilst the palate draws out lemon, grapefruit and walnut. It's well-balanced and composed, a serious Chardonnay worth cellaring.

Generous, intense and age-worthy, the EBM is well-suited for 10 years of cellaring. Pair with roasted white meats, buttery fish, or green vegetables.
